Curriculum
WBR Early Learning utilizes a high-quality, research-based curriculum that provides learning goals and activities in the key areas of children’s development that reflect support for school readiness goals. The curriculum provides guidance on what to teach (content) and how to teach (learning experiences and teaching strategies). The content is planned based upon the children’s current developmental skills, the children’s interests and children’s ideas. Now more than ever, there is a need for a seamless continuum of learning for children in all early childhood programs. Building successful birth through age 5 alignment learning and developmental systems that interface with comprehensive programs and services is an essential investment to ensure that children who are at risk of beginning their primary education years behind their peers have a chance to learn on equal footing.
